"My sword" Illustration By Anass SAIDI (Flappy)digital painting, Wacom cintiqu. Photoshop CS3tools: Brushes, Selection toolthis tutorial represents a simple way to create an illustration, using less possible tools and effects with photoshop CS3.70% Select tool, 20% Brushes, 10% adjustments.painting with black and white will give you some possibilities to see mistakes and problems clearly. so it’s commanded as a beginner to use black and white while painting.after that you put some general lights and silhouettes. and in my situation here, i don’t have a clear idea about what i must do to keep myself open and free while working. the important here is enjoying.once you’re comfortable with the results, you can add some details, but you mast stay aware that too much details could destroy your work…., or make it better. and that depends on your experience.as i’m not a patient person, i’m always satisfied with un-detailed illustrations.( you can add details later if you like them )now I go for some contrast and color balance to search for the right color that represents my subject.my subject here is cold and calm so i go for the sweet blue .and to have some contrast I add some good red on the sword, to add a feeling of blood. (my opinion)and now you can always change and fix things that you see them wrong.thanks for reading, and i hope you enjoy it.ANASS SAIDI “Flappy"http://flappyart.tumblr.com/
